London, 14 April 2015 – With increased construction of new data centers, the Data Center Cooling Market in GCC Countries is expected to grow at a CAGR of 23.37 percent from 2015-2019, says research firm Technavio.

Cloud computing and big data analytics have influenced the demand for data centers in the GCC. Many global cloud service providers (CSPs) target countries like Dubai, Qatar and Abu Dhabi as major locations for establishing data centers for powering businesses in these and surrounding countries.

“Increased numbers of social media, smartphone and other compact device users will also drive data center growth in this region with personal and business data growing exponentially year on year,” says Faisal Ghaus, Vice President of Technavio.

The latest Technavio report also draws attention towards data center infrastructure management (DCIM) that facilitates the management of cooling systems in a data center through remote software via sensors attached to the cooling systems.

“Vendors are increasingly focusing on providing DCIM systems to customers as they can remotely monitor and manage the temperature in the data center,” says Ghaus.
