London, 17 March 2015 – With the increased adoption of IoT in the manufacturing sector, the Internet of things (IoT) Market in China is expected to grow at a CAGR of 32.15 percent from 2014-2019, says research firm TechNavio.

The manufacturing sector accounts for more than 32 percent of the China’s GDP, and the use of internet enables vendors in the sector to connect with a wide customer base, in order to offer improved services.

“The IoT helps manufacturers improve their entire process, thanks to radio frequency identification technology and other mobile applications. Manufacturers are seeing the benefits of the technology, which is leading to an increase in the adoption of IoT throughout the manufacturing sector,” says Faisal Ghaus, Vice President of TechNavio.

The new TechNavio report highlights growth in mobile network infrastructure, since IoT services can be provided over satellite and mobile networks.

“With 3G and 4G networks undergoing expansion, more and more service providers have started providing higher bandwidth to their customers, which enhances the quality of IoT services and accelerates data transmission,” says Ghaus.

Developing IoT services is an advantage for mobile operators that provide 3G and 4G services, as these services enable faster data transmission and improve network efficiency.
