London, 20 April 2015 – The automotive heads-up display (HUD) market in Germany is expected to grow at a CAGR of 31.24% from 2015-2019 as car production in the country increases, says research firm Technavio.
About the Report
Germany saw a strong rise in car production in 2014 because of better capacity utilization, patent-protected innovation, efficient value chain management and new market entrants like companies from China, South Korea and India.
“Higher production of cars in Germany will compel automotive OEMs and suppliers to develop innovative technologies like HUDs to gain a competitive edge over others,” says Faisal Ghaus, Vice President of Technavio.
The latest report by Technavio also draws attention towards the change from a high dependence on revenue generated through car sales towards an industry that is placing more emphasis on value creation.
“The demand for energy-efficient cars and mid-size cars has grown significantly in Germany and hence, automotive OEMs and suppliers are focusing more on value addition to their new car models,” says Ghaus.
