Working in combination with proven BMC software that has been deployed to users throughout the world, I am confident in our ability to effectively respond to the diverse needs of a wide range of users, including enterprises and telecom carriers.”

BMC Software is currently one of the leading vendors in the Global Cloud System Management Software Market, which is expected to grow at a CAGR of 32.51 percent for the 2013-2018 period.

This impressive growth is driven mainly by two factors:

1. Need for Rapid Scaling of Enterprise Computing Infrastructure

Cloud Service Management Software: Model

Cloud computing and cloud-based services are witnessing widespread adoption by enterprises and end-users worldwide. Small and medium-sized enterprises are the major adopters of the services being provided by the cloud service providers. With the expansion of business and increasing digital content being used by enterprises, there is a need for a rapid scaling of computing resources in the enterprise networks to cater to higher computing requirements.

A number of supporting features such as artificial intelligence are being introduced to help ease the enterprise management process. The cloud system management software helps in measuring the productivity of the enterprise and also optimizes the processes being executed on the computing platforms.

2. Increasing Automation of Cloud-based Service

Cloud service adoption is increasing in complexity as computing demands of enterprises become more multifaceted. With many cloud-based service providers emerging in the market, there is an increasing demand for customizing applications and services to meet the specific computing requirements of enterprises. Most processes of workload management and allocation of computing resources are being automated by software management solutions.

Cloud infrastructure has a pool of computing solutions from which resources are allocated to the end-user’s applications for execution. The majority of the resources are shared among multiple enterprises, which leads to the reduction of computing expenditure for the enterprises. In addition, the cloud system management software vendors are also providing analytics solutions as a part of the package, thus increasing the adoption of the solutions by enterprises.

In addition, the consolidation of cloud computing infrastructure is an emerging trend in the Cloud System Management Software Market. Normally, cloud computing equipment and infrastructure are located in different locations, making it difficult to manage the equipment. Enterprises and cloud-based service providers are looking at consolidating the equipment at a single location, which can ease the management of the computing infrastructure.

The cloud systems management software applications are capable of cloud configurability, centralized management, collaboration, control, and maintenance. To tap this growing opportunity, many vendors are providing application and infrastructure collaboration features in cloud systems management software to enterprises.
