This report also lists three other prominent vendors who are expected to contribute to this market’s growth between 2017-2021.

The global market for machine vision is highly fragmented in nature. The regional and local players in the market space focus on offering cost-effective customized automation control systems. International players, on the other hand, are continuously innovating and developing their competitiveness through R&D investments. Basler
Basler produces digital cameras mainly for industrial production and a wide range of applications. It has subsidiaries in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Its end-user segment includes medical technology, industrial mass production, life sciences, retail application, traffic management and other application such as security and surveillance, logistics, sports, and motion and agriculture.

Cognex Corporation
Cognex Corporation provides vision systems, software, sensors, and industrial ID readers. Its applications include detecting defects, guiding assembly robots, tracking, sorting, and identifying parts. The company operates in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Teledyne DALSA develops, designs, manufactures, and markets digital imaging products and arrangements, specialized integrated circuit and electronics technology, software, and highly engineered semiconductor wafer processing.
