London, 30 January 2015 –The CRM Market in China is expected to post a CAGR of 16.54 percent from 2014-2019, according to a new report from research firm TechNavio.

The latest report by TechNavio highlights the sales automation sub-segment, which is the major contributor of revenue within the on-demand CRM software segment. Advantages of quick deployment and simplicity of configuration for sales administrators make it an attractive substitute for on-premise solutions.
“The sales automation sub-segment will remain one of the largest contributors to the on-demand CRM software segment during the forecast period, representing over 45 percent of on-demand software revenue in the CRM software market,” says Faisal Ghaus, Vice President of TechNavio.
The report also emphasizes increased demand for marketing automation. Demand for marketing automation and customer service & support solutions is increasing, although the sales sub-segment of CRM applications is still a major revenue contributor.
Vendors that offer both on-site and SaaS solutions are changing their user base and revenue structure to include a larger share of SaaS in response to increased demand and more highly scrutinized budgets.
“Acceptance of SaaS within customer service and support applications is increasing because of the growing business of vendors like Salesforce.com and RightNow Technologies,” says Ghaus.
