London, 22 September 2015 – Technavio, a tech-focused research firm, has published a new report on the education ICT in Brazil, which is expected to grow at a CAGR of over 22% from 2015-2019.

According to the latest market research report by Technavio, among all initiatives of the Brazilian government, one key activity enabling clear and timely implementation of educational policies is increased collaboration of higher education institutions with foreign universities that provide high-quality education and related services.

“The Brazilian government launched the science without borders program in 2011, which aims to send 101,000 students abroad by 2016. The main focus of this program is to increase the employability of students graduating from universities and colleges as Brazil is facing high unemployment and it is of greater need for sustainable economic growth,” says Faisal Ghaus, Vice President of Technavio.

The latest report by Technavio also focuses on the active participation by venture capitalists in the education market in Brazil.

“An increasing number of companies are investing in this developing market. For instance, Gera Venture Capital, a domestic venture capitalist, has made investments in entrepreneurial firms in Brazil as well as abroad seeking high financial returns,” adds Ghaus.
